Deskview for accessing programs and your files on the Network

• Open up a web browser and go to:  www.wabash.edu/mybash
• Click on the “Virtual Computer Lab” link
• You will have the option to install the VMware View Client or to use View HTML Access
  • The View Client offers better performance and features
  • The View HTML Access offers quick web access to your virtual computer without installing any software

VMware View Client Option:

• You will be directed to VMware’s web site to download the client software (one time only)
• Download and install the VMware Horizon Client for your operating system (the computer you are using to connect from)
  • Accept all defaults during the install
  • Use IPv4
  • Default Horizon Connection Server = deskview.wabash.edu
• Launch the installed VMware Horizon Client program
• Double click deskview.wabash.edu
• The login credentials will be your username and password and the domain is Wabash
• You can then launch the “Library Lab” or “Wabash Staff” virtual computer
• Please shut down the virtual computer when you are done using it

View HTML Access Option:

• Click on “VMware View HTML Access”
• The login credentials will be your username and password and the domain is Wabash
• You can then launch the “Library Lab” or “Wabash Staff” virtual computer
• Please shut down the virtual computer when you are done using it
