Class of 2030, welcome to Wabash! My name is Francisco Bibian, and I’m a senior biochemistry major with a minor in religion. First off, congratulations! You made a great decision in choosing Wabash. My advice is to take advantage of every opportunity that comes your way and lean on your brothers through the highs and the lows of college. I come from a small town in Northern Indiana called Rolling Prairie. At Wabash, I serve as the secretary of IMA. I am a member of the Sphynx Club and participate in several clubs, including bowling and disc golf. Outside of school, I go horseback riding, work at the Boys and Girls Club, and actively volunteer at my local 4-H fair. I enjoy working out, especially weightlifting and long runs. These next few years will come with change, growth, and challenges. My name is Zamir McNeal, and I am a second-year majoring in History and Music with minors in Black Studies and Chemistry, with interests in law, social justice, and cultural literacy. I am big on purpose—everything I do, I make it mean something! On campus, I serve as a Class of 2029 Representative in Student Senate, where I advocate for our class and work on initiatives that indubitably impacts student life. I’m also involved with the Malcolm X Institute of Black Studies, the Pre-Law Society, and a member of the Wabash Glee Club and T-Tones. For me, Wabash is about growth and intention. You’re going to be pushed here, academically, socially, personally, but that’s what makes this place what it is. My biggest advice?
