Current Student Financial Aid Process
To apply for federal and state need-based financial assistance, you must:
- Complete the FAFSA (cost to complete = Free)
- Complete the Verification Process
Eligibility for need-based financial aid is contingent upon continuing to demonstrate financial need, Satisfactory Academic Progress, and campus citizenship as determined by the Dean of Students. Additionally, students cannot be in default or owe a refund on any federal aid.
Students must complete the Financial Aid Process each year in order to be considered for federal and state need-based financial assistance and institutional assistance.

Special Circumstances
When determining your financial aid package, we make every effort to offer you the maximum amount of assistance you are eligible to receive from the resources available. If you feel that your financial situation has changed significantly or you have experienced an unforeseen financial hardship, you should contact our financial aid office at financialaid@wabash.edu. Please note that we are governed by federal and state regulations which may limit the types and amounts of assistance you are qualified to receive.
Student Support Funds
Current students who are faced with unexpected expenses that may affect their ability to succeed at Wabash may apply to the Student Support Funds for financial relief. These funds are not available for student account charges or other educational expenses that should otherwise be expected. Each application is carefully reviewed to ensure all other financial aid resources are maximized first.
