This semester's theme was Indian tea. Associate Professor of Economics Sujata Saha brewed a large pot of chai to share with students and faculty.

In many ways, across many countries, tea culture is a deep-rooted tradition meant to gather people together in everyday life. Students shared laughs as they arrived for the midday tea.

Saha explained that there is no single way to make tea—every household has its own recipe. At its heart, though, tea is made by boiling tea leaves with milk, sugar, and aromatic spices. The tea of the day featured ginger, as well as sweet and spicy cardamom.
