Anne Sexton (pictured), Cara Ruark, and Jen Tordil breathed rich harmonies into the Slavonic dances with their horns.

Together, the horns and trombones quietly rumbled in "Rhenish," adding a haunting layer to the symphony.

It will be a few years before this young concert-goer will be big enough to hold the bass. For now, it makes a great chair.
