The Lafayette Fellowship
Villa Albertine
Description
Launched by the French Embassy in the U.S., the Lafayette Fellowship is a prestigious new scholarship program supporting up to 30 outstanding American students for one year of master’s-level study in France. Open to both French and non-French speakers, fellows will study at top French institutions in fields such as STEM, humanities, social sciences, and the arts, with programs available in English or French.
In celebration of the 250th anniversary of the American Declaration of Independence, the Fellowship also includes a unique French-American Leadership Program, featuring lectures, site visits, and mentorship focused on global challenges like sustainability, health, democracy, and AI.
